Receiver Extension Is It OK To Plug My HDTV Into An Extension Cord? Can I Go TV To Surge Protector To Extension Cord To Wall?

Is it OK to plug my HDTV into an extension cord? Can I go TV to surge protector to extension cord to wall? - receiver extension

I've heard (from a source of terrible), which should not be connected to extension cords HDTV. I need about 4 '- 5' to get to the connector. And with the HD receiver to the TV, okay, a connection to both a surge protector, then plug the surge protector into an extension cord to reach the exit? I finally have condemned a man "cave" and not enough outlets!

It is recommended not to a surge protector into an extension of the plug. Read the instructions that said, are directly connected to the alveolar wall.
If you have a FIVE feet further, a model with a longer cable.

He must feel comfortable in an extension cord plug surge protector. Make sure the cord is a heavy weight and has a 3-pin socket.

Sufficient power outlets installed where you need it. This is the only safe solution. Extensions are for temporary use.

PS: You can be 8-foot power cord IEC-get type, using the most television.
