Splenda is a chlorine-based product. I had to stop problems with stomach pains and their use only after renouncing smoking. The
The following article answers some questions.
Citizen Advocacy Group Health asked the FDA for the revocation of the sweetener Splenda.
Consumers have begun to argue that they have suffered health side effects of the use of artificial sweeteners. These complaints about the health effects ranging from skin rashes, headaches, pain, severe gastro-intestinal.
Splenda (brand name for sucralose) has always been considered a "safe" sweetener (see here and here considered). It is possible that the manufacturer) (Tate & Lyle to wear them. Artificial sweeteners are a massive industry and Splenda right.
According to Reuters article
McNeil Nutritionals, more than 100 studies have found sucralose safe. But for the health of citizens, said studies in people were never conducted with Splenda.
Laura Tarantino, director of the FDA for food adOOD safety, said there is an information system for the problems associated with food, but she showed no signs of trend Splenda.
"It is very difficult, these problems (track) because when someone eats something and then bellyache has very difficult for anyone to know what that refers to itself," he said.
Nutrition related health problems are very hard to find, and generally follow a carefully controlled elimination diet to identify the offending foods. However, when evidence begins to mount, then it's time to dig deeper. But he wanted the owners of Splenda (McNeil and Johnson & Johnson Nutrition), to pay for studies to demonstrate that its "flagship contain" May health risks.
Many people have allergic reactions or intolerance to low levels for a variety of foods, dairy products, soybeans, wheat, nuts, eggs. If you have a problem with the food - avoid them altogether - but that does not mean everyone should avoid.

I think the problem is that it is relatively new, and no long-term research. To test the products do not have enough time these days, and will leave the market or not! So I stay away and cut my calories in other ways. For example, sugar in the coffee does not really add many calories in one day! This amount of calories has to be done by cutting a slice of white bread!
I spent a year in operation and have found that people think it's bad, mad or business ties to the sugar industry. No evidence complain anyway, and only jiberish. Splenda is safe to say who had made several attempts to run it by our government that most drugs approved for perscription.
